Have you made the Saintess Shield yet? Mirror Shield, White Shield, and magic water. I've been worrried about her defense as well. Lastly, a Dangerous Bustier (99 mini medals) and a Shimmering Dress make a Divine Bustier that also changes Jessica's appearance. A Pricess Robe is an Angel Robe, Shimmering Dress, and a gold rosary. Magical skirt is Magical hat, magical mace and a Bandit's Grass Skirt. It's the best for her, I think.Ī flowing dress and magical skirt make an Angel Robe. Or you can beat Rank S in the Monster Arena and get a cloak, I believe.
Um.It's a spangled dress, ruby of protection, and a gold bracer.
I'm pretty sure I'm near the end of the game and I'm trying to get better armor for the whole party.Ī shimmering dress was pretty good. Speaking of armor, does anyone know where I can get some decent armor for Jessica? She's using the spangled dress right now. Angelo has an Odin Bow, so he crits periodically with a regular attack and Jessica is only there to Sizz the green puddly slimes. I'm not sure of its value yet, but after level 47 you can also intimidate most of the "lesser" slimes (slimes, she-slimes, even King Cureslimes) and make them run off.īest I've gotten so far is 70,000+ in a single fight (1x Metal King Slime and 4x Liquid Metal Slime) I'm using a spear on the Hero, so I use Lightning Thrust (the one that hits critical if it connects at all) and Yangus's Executioner on the Axe tree. King Slimes (blue, rotund, crowned) are worth ~100 apiece and are also capable of dropping Slime Crowns (it's rare, but it happens, you won't need many SC's anyway). Heal (or is it Cure?) Slimes (pink, floaty, tentacled) are worth 70 xp apiece, and come in 5 or 6 packs. Some of those junk fights are half decent on their own. Once you get the routine down right the levels come flying in there. There will be lots of junk fights in between metal fights but they're all easy to end quickly. The hill only accessible by flying north of Rydon's tower is my place of choice for fighting metals to level. Also, there are a lot of chests in the field that you can now open as the Thief's Key wasn't strong enough. Mini medals, garter (make the Eros Bow fairly quickly in the game), seeds, money, alchemy items, Magic key, and a stronger sword for Angelo can all be found. Definitely make sure you hit all the rooms in the castle. I went H (up), out the door G, up stairs C, worked my over to the door marked Outside to D, then over to D, down stairs E, down to F, and then follow that map (Castle Trodain: 1st Floor) to Door A. I entered through the door that is marked by the left arrow. I started on the map that says Castle Trodain: 1st floor, East Wing. Magic Key will be found in the castle as well.ĮDIT: ok, from looking at those maps, I guess the 3rd floor is where you would start working left. Of course, don't forget to ransack every cabinet, hanging bag, barrels, and pots along the way. I don't have the map in my head exactly, but you will basically be going in the right side of the castle (as if you're facing it when you first come in the gates) going up to the 4th floor and working your way across the main part and back down the left side.
